Time seems to be flying by these days. In a blink of an eye January has come and gone and we’re a few weeks closer to meeting our little one. I snapped a quick bump shot while waiting for my doctor’s appointment yesterday. As you can see, the belly continues to grow!
We had our big ultrasound which was amazing. The baby is perfectly healthy and it was so fun to see him/her on the screen. We kept to our plan and didn’t find out the gender…and I’m so glad. I feel like not knowing will make the big arrival just that much more special.
I’ve started to clean out the spare bedroom in preparation for the nursery but no decorating yet. I’m having fun getting ideas and inspiration from Pinterest. Yesterday I stopped by Merry Go Round in Bellevue to do a little browsing, I guess it’s safe to say the nesting has begun :)
The bean is getting more and more active and I absolutely LOVE it! Being still and just feeling the baby move is incredibly peaceful. I’m really trying to savor every moment.
I’ll be 24 weeks on Tuesday – less than 4 months to go! Woo!
